India will get more than 1.5 lakh passengers on domestic flights from Europe, the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) said in a recent report.
In a draft report, the agency said the new route from Europe to India would be “efficient and cost effective”.
The new route would cover an area of 531 square kilometers, or 918,000 acres.
Isro said the total cost of a domestic flight from Europe is Rs 9.65 lakh per passenger.
The cost of air freight is Rs 3.30 lakh per metric ton.
